Being over 40 is the gift of having more awareness of who I am. Until I hit my 40’s, I was influenced by media through magazines, tv and online of what or who I should aspire to be. At 45 years old I love my style, look and who I am to others and myself. I'm thankful for each day and do my best to give the same gratitude to others.
How do you stay fabulous?In 2013 my Mom had a double mastectomy at the same time my Dad was recovering from open heart surgery. Although I was in good health, I knew I needed to be a better advocate of health for my parents and myself. I do my best to stay fabulous through healthy eating options with french fries here and there, walking for self reflection and weights to maintain muscle, daily skincare regimen to combat signs of aging and most important surrounding myself with family....especially my mom and dad.
What would you do with the $40,000?I will pay it forward….I would pay off my parent's mortgage. I am the 5th child out of 6. My parents always have been supportive and caring wanting the best for all their children. I’d give others the feeling of being fabulous over 40. Whether it’s paying for someone’s pedicure as a surprise, or paying the groceries of the person ahead of me. Just giving someone else a sign of hope, love or happiness to make their day better.
