Making it to 40+ is an honor, but also a defining moment in our lives where we begin to really feel our mortality. It’s at this time that we have to begin to think critically about how we want to live the last half of our lives. I love that! Being 45 feels incredible because of all the lessons I've learned along the way. I'm now in a place with the resources to do the things that scared me the most (like founding a company). When was the last time you took a chance on yourself? I hope today!
How do you stay fabulous?Lately I’ve returned to working out because I’m excited to see what my body can do at 45. I’m doing a lot more work in mindfulness and grounding as I seek to live less in the past and future and more in the present. After all, it’s the safest place you can be! I also spend a lot of time mentoring over women in their careers. From negotiating salaries to smashing barriers I want to bring the younger generation into their own era of fabulousness! There's room for everyone to succeed!
What would you do with the $40,000?That’s easy! I would invest it in expanding initiatives through my mental health startup to improve the lives, mental, and emotional well being of women. I would love to establish virtual social groups through Hopeify to help women navigate life. There's so much power in human connection and I'm proud to be someone who can foster that connection!
