My mother always use to say, "nobody can be you better than you baby". I appreciate those words more now than ever. I'm owning the me that I am now and I love who I have and am becoming. What I love about being over 40 is the freedom that I feel. Not in a "relationship" type of way but, more so in my thinking. My 20's and 30's life was great but, many of my decisions and choices were based on how and who others thought I should be.This 40's me, baby! I'm unhindered and unbothered, I'm doing me.
How do you stay fabulous?I feel like I'm supposed to say, I work out 8 times a week and I eat healthy, LOL. I don't, I am a "Foodie" who will travel in the rain, sleet, and/or snow for good food. I do work out but, it's not just for health reasons. It's so that I can continue to eat what I want and still look good in my cute outfits. I stay fabulous by understanding now, that it is okay to choose me sometimes. I live in the moment, I love hard, I try new things, I travel, and I take care of my family and my friends.
What would you do with the $40,000?Honestly, nothing too fancy at all. I would pay off a few small debts and take my daughter to Barcelona Spain (for soccer...and food,lol). As for the rest...I had to sale my first home due to divorce so I would put it toward a down payment for our new home.
