First, people don't believe I'm in my mid-forties so that's a compliment. I became confident in my own skin feeling powerful and peaceful. My healing journey has taken me to a place of faith and love where I am allowing the universe to take the wheel. I'm no longer in control of the outcome but rather a student of the process. I embrace/support others without forgetting to set boundaries when necessary. I learned to appreciate the simple things of life and see the beauty within my imperfections.
How do you stay fabulous?Body, mind and soul connection is very important to me. My nutrition, skin care/hygiene products, vitamins/supplements are all organic or minimally processed products. No smoking and alcohol consumption is to a minimum. I love working out between 4-6 times a week for 45min - 2hrs. I enjoy going for walks at least 3 times a week. I am constantly in tune with my spiritual side and try to honor my younger self with grace.
What would you do with the $40,000?A big dream of mine when I was a teenager was to be in fashion. I became a young mom unable to fulfill that dream. I want to dedicate myself in investing on what makes me happy like having my own clothing line or even a fashion stylists group where I can help women looking beautiful using their resources without breaking the bank. I would like make a safe space for women who are afraid to show their beauty because they either don't have the means to do it or don't know how.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Fab Over 40, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
