With age comes contentment and sense of ownership and confidence within myself and of my actions. Have no regrets. If there is failure, make it right the next time. I give myself permission to walk away from toxic people and situations even if it is not looked upon favorably or judged to be the “right thing to do”. If I feel it’s right for me, then that is what I’ll do. Learning to say “Sorry, but no.” Is very powerful.
How do you stay fabulous?Fabulousness begins from within. That is the very first step. Allowing myself to do what works for me even if it is outside the box of societal norm. Feeling good is looking good. I do credit LOTS of sleep! Eating well—focus on fresh fruits and vegetables, fish, and limited meat. And if that pint of HagAan Das ice cream is calling out to be eaten….well I’m happy to oblige!!
What would you do with the $40,000?The 40,000 would 100% go to fix my house and yard. My husband, who passed last year, and I raised our 3 children where we’ve lived 20+ years. Having many financial ups and downs—more downs. Making repairs and replacing broken appliances, AC’s etc. was difficult to fund, let alone have any excess to upgrade or improve anything. The peace of mind would go a long way to wake with a cup of coffee and go sit in my living room without feeling down when looking around seeing broken worn everything!
