What I love about being over 40 is the confidence and clarity that comes with it. I’ve embraced my journey and my experiences, both the highs and the challenges, which have shaped me into a stronger, more resilient woman. There’s a sense of freedom in knowing who I am, what I want, and what I stand for. I no longer feel the need to prove myself to others, and that has given me so much peace. This chapter of life is about living authentically, appreciating every moment, and continuing to grow
How do you stay fabulous?Staying fabulous for me is all about self-care, self-love, and staying grounded in my purpose. I make sure to nourish my mind, body, and spirit—whether that’s through meditation, staying active, or taking time to enjoy the little things in life. Surrounding myself with positive energy and people who uplift me is key. I also embrace my unique style and stay true to what makes me feel confident and empowered. But most of all, I stay fabulous by continuing to grow, evolve, and spread love .
What would you do with the $40,000?With $40,000, I would invest it directly into Empowerment For Hope Society to expand our programs and resources. It would allow us to reach more individuals impacted by gender-based violence, homelessness, and addiction, and create more healing spaces for those in need. A portion would also go toward supporting our strategic initiatives like feeding the homeless, hosting more workshops, and providing peer support groups. Additionally, this funding would help sustain and grow our team.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Fab Over 40, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
