I have been an Army wife through 3 deployments, moved to a foreign country with a new baby, buried my 40 yr-old husband, and I'm still HERE!

I have come to appreciate the gift of aging. Not everyone gets the privilege to grow older. I have learned so much in my 4 decades on this earth. My difficult experiences have taught me resilience, my family and friends have taught me love, and my happiest times have taught me gratitude. I've learned that life is about finding joy in the simple pleasures of a single moment because that's all any of us are promised. My husband didn't live beyond 40 and now it's up to me to enjoy it for us both.
How do you stay fabulous?I have a 12 yr-old daughter that pushes me to be my best every day. When she was a few months old, she and I had to travel overseas alone to meet my husband at a new duty station and it was scary, but I knew I had her and I could do it. Now that her dad is gone, it's up to us to travel this new journey alone as well and it gives me strength to do it with her and for her. There's so much unknown about life, but the only way to conquer it is to put our best foot forward every day. We are doing it!
What would you do with the $40,000?I would pay off debt to get my finances in a better place. Being a widow at a young age is daunting and I worry about the future every day. I feel like I'm drowning in a sea of stress and responsibilities and worries about money keep me up at night. I hope to be able to help someone else with some of it as well.
