the confidence, patience that I didn’t have in my 20’s. At the same time, I feel my spirit keeps being young but with a lot more experience, which makes me able to be in the present, enjoy and cherish every moment in my life. I love to dance, music, love to meet new people from different backgrounds, different ages. I learn from every one of them, and I give (as a rumba instructor) all my positive energy and I get back triple from them. My family is my life, my child is my pride.
How do you stay fabulous?I try to balance my life with work, dancing, spending time with my family, and my friends. Teaching my Zumba classes is giving so much joy, being front row witness of their progress as dancers is amazing, fulfilling and that joy keeps me fabulous.
What would you do with the $40,000?Winning this prize will help me pay for an apartment in my country of origin-Venezuela. It is near the beach, in a warm a sunny beautiful island called Margarita. When i get older, I would be able to retire in a place where I will be able to smell the ocean, take walks near the ocean and enjoy the sunsets (my favorite thing to do). I will give some $ to my mom, my child and my sister. And donate to an animal shelter near where I live (Richmond CA). Did I use it all? Haha I think so.
