I am a Mom, a Wife and a Nurse
We would like to thank you for supporting Virginia Vecchio Virginia Vecchio in this year's competition. Your support helps us contribute to the National Breast Cancer Foundation who provides early detection, education, and support services to those affected by breast cancer.
When I turned 40, I thought my world was ending. You can ask anyone I kept saying I was 39.99. But, once it finally happened, I realized my life was only beginning. I have finally found myself. I have been able to become the woman I truly always needed to be. I have found a voice within me to speak up for myself and for my peers and family. Being 40 means knowing you have lived a lot of your life, and you still have so much more to live - you better make the most of it!
How do you stay fabulous?Staying fabulous is hard when you are a mom, a nurse, a wife, a woman in general - so you have to prioritize yourself. I put myself first at least once a month a take myself out on a date - whether it be shopping, out to eat, or just for a drive. You have to find your inner peace and you can only find that when you are able to find true happiness. I find my true happiness alone and in the quiet. If you are able to see yourself as more than titles - then you are FABULOUS!
What would you do with the $40,000?I am the sole provider for my family, so the 40,000 would be so helpful to just keep us going. There have been times that I have looked at my bank account and seen dollars and not seen a paycheck for 2 weeks. We make a way in this life to see that our family has what they need, and that is what I have done each and every day. The money would be a blessing, but as long as I have my family we will be ok.
