I’m 47. I have two kids (13 and 11), one with autism. Despite the challenges, I maintain a positive outlook and keep myself healthy.
We would like to thank you for supporting Viktoria Szolnoki-Brainard in this year's competition. Your support helps us contribute to the National Breast Cancer Foundation who provides early detection, education, and support services to those affected by breast cancer.
I got my Master’s degree over 40! I went back to college when I was 39 and I got my MA in Edicational Psychology 3 years later. I value the life experience gained by my 40s which helps me understand my special needs child’s needs, navigate the system of supports available for him and makes me a better advocate.
How do you stay fabulous?I swim at least once a week. I use a treadmill at home several times a week for my uphill walk. I eat healthy, I also watch how much I eat and I avoid added sugar. For skincare I use sunscreen daily, rain or shine, I have been doing that for 25 years! I also use some retinol and exfoliants but that’s it so far. I’m not ready to go gray yet, and my excellent hair stylist takes care of my color and highlights.
What would you do with the $40,000?With $40,000 I would take my children to Europe to see their grandma one more time. I would also take them to Disneyland and a Caribbean beach, which they have been asking for years. I also have some favorite charities I would not forget about.
