I turned 40 in Jan & today I celebrate 1,000 days alcohol free. I am working on myself, have lost 70 pounds and look/feel better than ever!

I love being 40 because I don't have to put on a façade anymore. I feel like I'm finally becoming the woman (read: grown up) I'm meant to be and I understand not everyone is going to like it. I am who I am, love it or leave it. There is so much peace that comes with accepting 'what others think of me is none of my business'.
How do you stay fabulous?I stay fabulous by putting myself first for a change. I've always had issues with being a people pleaser and making sure everyone else is taken care of first, often ignoring my own needs. Having a self care routine (even as simple as remembering to wash my face), eating healthy and moving more has made me feel more confident and comfortable in my own skin. I like to try clothes I wouldn't have dared to wear in the past and try one new, big "thing" each year.
What would you do with the $40,000?One of my biggest dreams in life is becoming a homeowner and a chunk of change like $40k would definitely help. The dream isn't just about owning a home, it's also about the security and comfort of having a space that is entirely mine. I would decorate in the aesthetic I choose without any outside influence. I'm here to make my own rules and I make no apologies for it. Who says I can't paint a bathroom black?! No one...
