It may sound like a cliche but it is true, with age definitely comes wisdom. At this age I’m wise enough to avoid a lot of the mistakes the 20 year old Venus would make. My BS tolerance meter is definitely on and synced, therefore I don’t waste my time on things or people that do not make me happy or benefit me in a positive manner.
How do you stay fabulous?First off, I give thanks everyday to the Almighty for the blessing of being able to live 40+ years, by praying and staying in his word. Second, I am more conscious of the things I put in my body and on my skin to maintain a healthy glow, and I’m really starting to enjoy building a regular fitness routine. Truth be told, I really want to be around for another 40+ years. I have a beautiful 16 year old son to be around for.
What would you do with the $40,000?With the winnings I would definitely take a portion to invest for my son’s college fund. And being a women’s health Nurse, I would like to start a non profit health center that focuses on bridging the maternal health disparity gap that exists within my community.
