I struggle every day with self image. Regardless of compliments, I just don’t see what everyone else sees as beautiful in me.

Over 40 has passed the awkward teens and the struggling 20s and the confusing 30s. The 40s is a time in my life which has made me a responsible adult albeit a single parent, who has stood tall and has learnt to be self sufficient to be able to prepare for my “golden years” (yikes did I really just say that?!?)
How do you stay fabulous?Staying fabulous is a mindset rather than a physical. For me it’s about not sweating the small stuff. My advice to the younger generation is to remind them that in a couple weeks from now whatever they think is causing their world to shatter right now, won’t be relevant. It’s looking at the bigger picture in life. What really matters and asking if the small stuff is worth the stress. Stress is an aging mechanism- terrible! No stress, happy life
What would you do with the $40,000?$40k would be a wonderful opportunity to spend with my kids doing some traveling. I could always be selfish and opt for some cosmetic surgery but what sort of a mother would I be?!?! Ha! It’s a lot of money to be handed without working for, I could never dream of such a thing ever happening to me.
