The best part about being over 40 is finally reaching that point where you don't care what people think about you anymore. The insecurity that comes with being young and wanting to look a certain way for other people, to impress other people, just isn't important anymore. What's important to me now is how I feel about MYSELF. When I look in the mirror, the only thing that matters is that I like what I see. Do I feel good? Am I happy with who I am? That's it. No one else's opinion matters.
How do you stay fabulous?I stay fabulous by trying to eat healthy most of the time, but still indulging when I want. I also like to buy myself something cute to wear at least once a month. I never leave the house without my hair being fixed and my toenails painted, and at least some lipstick! And, at least 2-3 times a week, I take a 2.5 mile walk for my mental & physical health.
What would you do with the $40,000?I just recently became an empty nester and my biggest dream is to travel more since I was unable to as a single mom, so I think I would definitely take a month long trip to Europe. Then I would probably invest the rest of it, because I am a freelance worker and don’t have much in the way of a retirement fund!
