I was told 4 years ago I wouldn’t be here due to a genetic disorder, I have cried, laughed and fought my way back to live my best life!
We would like to thank you for supporting Ursinia Cruz in this year's competition. Your support helps us contribute to the National Breast Cancer Foundation who provides early detection, education, and support services to those affected by breast cancer.
I love that I can spend time with my grown kids and grandchildren. I love that I have had time to go back to school and am currently working on my Associates Degree in three fields, Integrated Studies, Digital Media and Computer Technology in addition to my Culinary degree. I also love that I have time to help others. Since my kids are grown and I’m also a licensed PMU Artist I have been able to help cancer patients that have lost their hair still have eyebrows.
How do you stay fabulous?I stay fabulous by practicing self love. I see a lot of Dr’s so that is first and foremost. I make it a priority. I work out and eat healthy to maintain my health. I read and love to do crafts, bake cakes, cook, and spend time with the ones I love and go to church! All those things keep me fabulous.
What would you do with the $40,000?If I had 40,000 the first thing I would do is move my mother down here to Kentucky with me. We lost my brother last August and it has been a traumatic time. I believe her being with family would help her heal. I would pay for an upcoming surgery in Dec. Last I would also buy a little food truck and start living the dream. I love to cook and bake. It’s my first passion. Promote healthy cooking with farm fresh ingredients from the farm we hope to have someday (we already have 15 chickens). ♥️
