What I love about being over 40 is embracing my true self. I’ve always been a sweet and kind person who sees the best in everyone, and while that perspective hasn’t always been a positive, it’s an integral part of who I am. The biggest change is my strength; I’ve become a stronger presence and more confident in my identity. This newfound strength allows me to navigate life with resilience, embracing challenges and supporting others along the way. Being over 40 has empowered me to truly shine.
How do you stay fabulous?Staying fabulous is all about mindset and self-care. It’s how you show up for yourself every day! I prioritize activities that nurture my body and spirit, like yoga, walking my dog, biking, hiking, and swimming. These activities keep me active and grounded while helping me stay connected to nature and the present moment. I believe that embracing these joys enhances my well-being and fuels my inner strength. By cultivating a positive mindset and enjoying life’s simple pleasures.
What would you do with the $40,000?If I had $40,000, I would invest it in establishing my business, Guiding Hearts, to expand my mission of promoting self-love and empowerment. This funding would help me create impactful programs and workshops, allowing me to support individuals in need and the communities I care about. Additionally, I would use a portion of the funds to bring some joy into my personal life—whether through experiences, travel, or personal growth opportunities.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Fab Over 40, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
