I have always been one to take care of my health physically and emotionally. I have struggled with an autoimmune disease called Lupus.

To me it’s just a number. I try to stay fit and active in everything I do. I try to eat healthy without going crazy and still enjoy the sweets which are my weakness. I enjoy shopping and staying on top of the latest styles. I feel if you look good, you will feel good, just In your style and how you present yourself by what your wearing. I feel it’s so important to put yourself first, so you can be the best version of yourself for others.
How do you stay fabulous?By staying on top of the hottest styles and always making time for my self. It’s important to stay positive and to know when it’s ok to sit this one out or to push forward. I struggle with my Lupus but from early on diagnosis I told myself that it wasn’t going to beat me. That I got this and I can still live a somewhat normal life. This has given me the strength to push forward.
What would you do with the $40,000?I would love to help my mom out. When I was 15 first diagnosed with what I know now is lupus I was hospitalized for 3 months. During that time my mom, being a single parent with no car and a job that she needed to keep the roof over my siblings and myself head. Now throw in me being hospitalized at children’s memorial hospital. She would take the train, walk, or borrow a friends car to come sit with me. It was not easy. During that time she lost her job bc of me being in the hospital and house.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Fab Over 40, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
