I never gave up on my journey to motherhood and adopted my foster daughter during the pandemic in 2020. I’m now 46-years-young!

I am more comfortable and confident about speaking my mind. I feel like at this point of my life, I’ve developed the skill set to be able to advocate for others in need. I love that I’ve become ambitious about trying new things, with excitement versus fear of the unknown. I also feel confident in being my authentic self. I also feel comfortable and confident with a fresh face and no makeup, throwing my hair up in a messy bun. I’m just not worried so much these days about my outer appearance.
How do you stay fabulous?For my skin, my momma always taught me to wear moisturizer. The moisturizer I use on my face has SPF, so I have sunscreen on my face year round. I pray daily, and I love reading Bible verses and positive quotes. I try my best to spread kindness and lend a helping hand when I can. I love singing and dancing. I’ve always described dancing as my first love. I stay true to myself, and being a loyal and trustworthy friend matters.
What would you do with the $40,000?My dream is to open my own event venue one day. $40,000 would be an excellent down payment! I’m also interested in partnership opportunities in a business ran by women. I believe in supporting local businesses and female entrepreneurs.
