I love the freedom that comes with self-awareness. I love the freedom of being able to speak my mind, but yet also seeing things from others point of view. I love being able to wear whatever clothing I want to wear and not giving two flips what someone thinks. I love wearing as much makeup or as little make up as I like. I love having adult children or semi-adult children that I can have a real conversation with about life. I love that I’m in my career. I love that I get to tell people, no!
How do you stay fabulous?I stay fabulous by enjoying the little things in life. That morning cup of coffee that just makes my day. Also, taking time to do a routine skin care that I actually enjoy - that is fun. I make sure that one day of the week I do a full body care routine. Being fabulous at 40 you must take time to enjoy those that are in your circle that are safe people that support your mentally health. Also, being about to recognize your strengths and what makes you tick!
What would you do with the $40,000?I would pay off my student loans. I would get a massage. I would take a two week vacation somewhere tropical. I would write another children’s book. I would give back to a specific organization that is a residential facility for children. There’s many different things I can do that would support others and my mental health/physical health.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Fab Over 40, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
