The sense of self-acceptance and love of who I am at this moment, the life I’ve led and the journey it has taken me to get here. There is a sense of peace and calmness alongside the excitement of what each day will bring in this chapter of my life. One is never too old to learn and grow and seek the next adventures. To live a life with the motto, ‘forever young’.
How do you stay fabulous?I follow simple principles of eating well, moving well, thinking well, and giving back to enrich the lives of others and myself. I do a 5k daily, lift weights 3 times a week, and do Yoga to move well. I eat a healthy balance of food but understand life is occasionally about splurges and not depriving oneself. I work to think positively and understand our best life lessons can come from difficult challenges that we learn from, and we can accomplish our dreams through self-belief and hard work.
What would you do with the $40,000?Over the last four years, I have been on a journey of self-rediscovery and self-satisfaction. As a mom, I had put my family first and me last. It was time to make my health and wellness a priority again. I lost 55lbs and found the strong amazing woman I always with a healthy lifestyle and outlook, to enjoy life well beyond my 50’s. I would love to give back and help empower other women to start their journey of self-discovery and acceptance that it is never too late. A romantic getaway for us.
