I love the wisdom gained from life experiences. Also, I find the older I get, the more self-assured I feel and the less I care about what others think of me (something that would have held me back from doing things in my younger years). Perhaps its the perception that time may be "running out" therefore I need to start living for me and not for others. This feels very empowering. I'm also more aware of what really matters in life - people and relationships, not "things".
How do you stay fabulous?Physical exercise has always been a part of my life. While the activities have changed over time, I always stay active. I avoid foods that don't make me feel good. I also think its important to find new challenges in life, something that can inspire you. I've always wanted to learn how to dance so in the last two years, I've made it my goal to move and 'look' like a dancer. By "look", I mean the strength and flexibility that comes from moving beautifully. It's not easy :)
What would you do with the $40,000?In 2023, I took my mom (who's 80 years old) back to her home town, a small little village in the South of Italy. It had been 50 years since she had been home. While many of her siblings/family had passed on, she got to see her remaining sisters, nieces, nephews and family/friends she had not seen in decades. I would love to take her back one more time.
