I love the wisdom that comes with age. I love teaching financial literacy to young women and men. I absolutely love being a very involved grandmother. My passion is helping the elderly stay in their own home instead of a nursing home. I witness first hand as a nurse how hard it is for a love one to leave their familiar surroundings and to be put in a nursing home.
How do you stay fabulous?I stay fabulous by keep my mind and body in shape. I love walking and listening to gospel music which helps lifts my spirits and help keeps mind focus.
What would you do with the $40,000?I would give 30% to SIDs organization because last year I lost a granddaughter to Sudden Infant Death. I also would like to start and organization that will help families who have lost a child with counseling and with burial arrangements. I witnessed with my daughter and her husband the lack of follow through after the lost of their daughter. No one reached out from social worker to offer counseling or how to help with burial arrangements for a 10 month old child.
