Being over 40 has brought me to a point in my life where I understand my worth and the confidence to be my authentic self. I surround myself with people and experiences that bring me joy. I avoid negative and toxic people and things. I’ve learned that life is short and to live each moment to its fullest.
How do you stay fabulous?I spend my time working on my physical health by going to the gym and running approximately 3-4 days a week. I teach dance to kids ages 8-18. They keep me young. Kids have an innocence and positive energy about them. I also dance for the WNBA. Dancing not only keeps me fit but fills my soul. I’m also working on a book. The book is my story of a very destructive, toxic marriage. It’s a story of perseverance for myself and my children. I have 3 kids and 2 grandchildren. They are truly my world.
What would you do with the $40,000?I would use some of the money to publish my book. I would hope that my story could show just one woman there is light at the end of a very dark tunnel. I would share some of the money with my kids. They are my why and giving to them brings me such happiness.
