I love the sense of self-awareness and confidence that comes with being over 40. I’ve had enough life experiences to understand my strengths and areas for growth, which makes decision-making more intentional. I also appreciate the freedom of no longer feeling pressured by societal expectations - I’m more focused on what truly matters to me and what brings fulfillment.
How do you stay fabulous?I focus on self-care, both mentally and physically. Staying fabulous means nurturing your confidence, maintaining a positive mindset, and taking time to care for your body, whether it’s through fitness, skincare, or simply doing things that make you feel good. Surrounding myself with supportive people and staying curious about life keeps me energized and happy.
What would you do with the $40,000?At this stage in my life, I’d prioritize using the $40,000 wisely. I’d likely invest a portion in securing my future, such as enhancing my retirement fund or exploring investment opportunities. I’d also focus on personal growth - whether through learning new skills or taking a meaningful trip to recharge. Lastly, I’d set aside some funds for charitable giving or causes I’m passionate about, as giving back is important to me.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Fab Over 40, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
