Loving the confidence in ME! I get so tickled when I'm asked my age and see the expression on the person's face. The disbelief and thoughts of me being younger gives me life. When I was younger, I dealt with people calling me names because of my complexion, my hair, and my not so straight teeth, but now, instead of trying bleaching creams or soaps, and not to mention a Clorox bleach bath, I've learned to accept my authentic uniquely made self. I made it beyond forty and that is a blessing.
How do you stay fabulous?Fashion is my passion mixed with a positive attitude and a hint of confidence. Keeping an approachable spirit and engaging with people of all ages allows me to educate, be educated, or be a rolemodel for those who look like me. I practice eating a heart healthy diet and work out as well. Sometimes I fall off the bandwagon, but I don't give up! I also, enjoy getting facials and keeping a good facial regime.
What would you do with the $40,000?I would send my sister on a spa-cation with a friend to a very nice location. My sister has done so much for our family and she is also my dad's caretaker, so she deserves the best. I'm a Desert Storm Retired Veteran and I would also donate some funds to the Women's Veteran Unite. It's an organization that does amazing things for women veterans in Tallahassee, Florida. A portion of the money would go towards upscaling my Divas Day Experience event.
