I finally woke up and realized, I don't have to do the same things the same way, I can choose a new direction for my life, taking care of my needs, instead of people pleasing. It means me pleasing, stepping out of the old life into a new. Who do I want to be, Fab or Drab. No brainer, definitely no more drab. I have never done anything like this. I stand back like a wallflower and watch other people be watched, I love children and animals, they love me back. It's very rewarding.
How do you stay fabulous?In this I suppose the labor has its benefits. I am currently cleaning up after a hurricane. If you move you stay fit, that is pretty easy around horses. Taking care of ones self has always been a challenge. I have never been to a spa, or had a massage. Fresh air sunshine, sunscreen, and UV clothing. My girly side buys clothes for the dream vacation I will go on, the dinners and nights on the town. I think this is my kick start to get moving toward the future. Bold move, right?
What would you do with the $40,000?I have been blessed beyond measure, I know. I straddled the fence between an old and new life. Whether this is an outside the box opportunity that propels me into a new existence, meeting new friends, having new experiences, discovering old friends or just another day, I will enjoy the experience. I am not sure how I got here in this New Beauty - Fab over 40 contest, but here goes. I could use the money in starting over, who couldn't, and pack me off to the spa, I am ready.
