Connect What do you love about being over 40?

Conquering my fears as a small business owner, gaining wisdom, and never accepting "no" as an answer. Now that I'm empty nesting, I have more time to focus on myself and achieving my goal of making my first million before 50. Despite setbacks, like surviving a 2023 car accident, God continues to bless me with essentials like shelter, food, & health. I’m learning to let go of people who don’t match my entrepreneurial energy, finding mentors, and prioritizing mental health on my path to success.

How do you stay fabulous?

I stay fabulous by starting my day at 5 a.m. with 30 minutes of meditation, followed by Yoga and Pilates stretches. I’m committed to my plant-based skincare routine, both morning and night. I focus on staying stress-free and maintaining an alkaline diet full of fruits and vegetables to keep my skin glowing. And of course, I always make time to laugh at the wild posts on social media, especially the dating chronicles! Laughter is good for the soul!

What would you do with the $40,000?

Honestly, I’d invest the invaluable $40,000 into growing my plant-based skincare line—expanding the product range, hiring part-time help for the holiday season, & boosting marketing efforts. I’d also attend health & wellness charity events to build connections and give out free samples. My brand has been in business for 3 years, & it's time to elevate my game in the natural beauty industry. Once I hit that million-dollar mark, then I'll treat myself and my cousin to a well-deserved vacation.
