What I love about being over 40, is that I am over 40, I don't have to play childhood, early adulthood games, I am old enough, wiser, lived 34 yrs longer when I should not have. But also being over 40, doesn't stop you from still living. You can be the wise old owl, without all the hormones. You see the value in life more having being past 40.
How do you stay fabulous?I am not always fabulous, I have many moments where I am a total disaster. I think it's more of something you think constantly about. Since getting married late in life, there have been milestones, we have changed our diets,health, lost weight and feel redefined. Since a second back surgery this year, it's been more of a crap shoot, I have had to learn to sleep at night where when I worked, it was 7pm to 730am. I guess in a balance that's better, till I go back.
What would you do with the $40,000?I would help my brothers contracting business. Contractors took a huge hit since covid and now with the current inflation, small companies are finding it hard to stay afloat. My Brothers have always stood by me, no matter what road I was drawn down, it feels fabulous to be able to help, especially when their character is too proud to ask.
