What I love most about being over 40 is the confidence that comes from experience. I no longer feel pressured to prove myself or be liked by everyone. The realization that not everything is about me is freeing, allowing me to let go of unnecessary drama and judgment. I’ve learned to set and enforce boundaries, protecting my time and energy. There’s a deep sense of inner peace from knowing who I am, trusting myself, and embracing that I’m enough just as I am.
How do you stay fabulous?As I’ve gotten older, I’ve learned that confidence is key—I embrace my uniqueness and wear it proudly. I also prioritizing self-care, both physically and mentally. I focus on maintaining a healthy lifestyle and making time for things that bring me joy, whether it’s hobbies, travel, or connecting with loved ones. Finally, I keep a positive mindset, always learning and growing, which helps me feel fabulous inside and out, no matter my age.
What would you do with the $40,000?I lost my mother recently, and with her, I feel I’ve lost a vital connection to my Korean heritage. As a first-generation Korean American, she was my link to our culture, and my children have never been to Korea. I would love to take my family there to retrace her steps and reconnect with our roots. This journey would also help us heal from the painful experience we faced with the Return to Nature Funeral Home, offering a sense of closure and restoring peace to our family by honoring her.
