I love being fabulous over 40 because I’ve embraced the confidence, experience, and self-awareness that it’s brought. A few things that contribute to this fabulousness are: being more comfortable and unapologetic in my skin; accumulating a wealth of life experiences, both personal and professional, and learning valuable lessons that guide me; honing my personal style, wearing what makes me feel best without being swayed by trends; and developing emotional maturity.
How do you stay fabulous?Staying fabulous for me includes prioritizing my mental, physical, and spiritual health. I travel to experience new cultures, teach yoga classes, serve my community, and stay emotionally charged through my relationship with God, my friends and family.
What would you do with the $40,000?This $40,000 would be a Godsend. I could use this to get out of debt, especially the medical bills, and help my nieces and nephew pay for college. As a variation of the proverb says, if you educate an individual, you educate a community. I want to continue to invest in my community.
