Tamra Thomas

I’m a full-time student, but also a mom, runner, and cyclist. Always improving because I’m still morphing into the person I want to become!

What do you love about being over 40?

The absolute best part about being over 40 is that you begin to not worry about what others think! You feel free to just be yourself. You also have life experiences by this time that when shared, can truly be beneficial with helping others. I also value my friends more than ever before. You begin to realize how short life is, and to really have fun: appreciate and celebrate every single day!

How do you stay fabulous?

I stay fabulous by educating myself. I read and write every day, attend two seated classes, and two online classes at a local university. I eat very healthy, maintaining my weight which I’m very proud of. I work out every day. I enjoy running, biking, hiking, Pilates, playing catch with my boys, taking my dog for walks, as well as yoga. I enjoy watching fashion trends and try to keep my wardrobe updated as best I can. I love dressing up!

What would you do with the $40,000?

The first thing I would do is schedule an international trip for my boys and I. They deserve so much because they lost their dad recently. I love showing them new places! I would pay off some bills, donate some to a charity I support that builds wells for people that need clean drinking water, and boost my boy’s savings accounts. If any was left over, I would save it for home repairs.
