Connect What do you love about being over 40?

Besides being in the best shape of my life, I love that being almost 60 that I have grown into being a wiser person who is ready to live and experience what life has to offer with no drama involved. I am more selective as to who I surround myself with, have more consideration with what drives me and what I choose to be part of, I definitely steer clear of negativity, and will continue to devote my time to positivity, charitable work, and spreading joy to others.

How do you stay fabulous?

I stay fabulous by my style of clothes. My age does not define how I should dress; never has & never will. I feel that if you are going to wear something short or a little different that you have to rock it & wear it with confidence! The outfits that I wear are colorful, edgy, and for some not age appropriate. It's how I express myself and it makes me happy. When people give compliments, especially other women, then I know that my confidence is shining through. It's a good feeling!

What would you do with the $40,000?

I would donate part of the money to a charitable organization. I would also like to self-publish a book during my 60th year and the money would come in handy for that. I am still working, have a few years before retirement, have raised my children, and spent many years as a caregiver to my mom before her passing, so I feel like I am in the "living my best life" phase of the game. Traveling and concerts would definitely be on the agenda as well if I am chosen.
