Settling in to who I am. I am a work in progress. Kind of like a right of passage. You have some experience behind you now and you learn lessons from experiences. Always take the good from whatever experience you have share it and keep moving! Looking back on being a mom and feeling good about it, proud of who these kids are, and at 54 being married to the love of my life for 36 years! Yes married at 17 to the same man. Proud of both of those accomplishments.
How do you stay fabulous?Mental health is very important! I schedule myself visits with a Dr monthly. I have accountability with her. I make time for myself, something that is new to me being a mom, but now the kids are grown n married. I have a new normal in life. Being kind, positive and always finding humor in things helps to stay in the right mindset, which in turns helps you in daily life. What would you do with the $40,000?I would donate to were the need is great. For people who don’t have the means, for ones who were affected by the weather and are struggle to get back on their feet! I’d like to go there and help out. I also would like to donate a few thousand to a dog rescue and to the organization that trains seeing eye dogs. I’d like to thank them personally for all that they do. I’d also like to create a fund that helps families financially when someone has a stroke.
