Being over 40 as a fabulous Black woman in Brooklyn is a total vibe! I love the confidence and wisdom that comes with age, paired with the vibrant energy and cultural richness of this city. I'm empowered in a way I wasn't when I was younger. I do whatever I want, whenever I want however I want. I'm more comfortable when stepping out of my comfort zone and embracing new adventures. It's a liberating feeling to know that age is just a number, and the best is yet to come for this Lovely Leo Lady!
How do you stay fabulous?Staying fabulous is all about keeping joy at the forefront! I lace up my roller skates and glide through love doing aqua aerobics, and shake my booty on the regs with an incredible tribe of vibrant women in their 50s, 60s, 70s, and even 80s! Prioritizing friendships, embracing creativity, and nurturing my health and happiness are my secret ingredients to a fabulous life.
What would you do with the $40,000?If I were fortunate enough to win this prize, I'd invest it in expanding my eco-friendly interior design business. I shift spaces and spirits. Developing an learning software and updating my website Enhancing my social media presence Developing more affordable packages to make eco-design accessible Partnering with local charities to give back to our community Here's to being Fabulous Over 40 and using our wisdom to create beautiful, sustainable spaces!
