I love the self-confidence and stability that I feel at 40. I have found a career that allows me to help others achieve their sense of confidence as well. I came to NYC in my 20's with nothing and I worked three jobs just to get by. I am now an Aesthetic Nurse at one of the most prestigious addresses in NYC. Years of hard work and dedication has brought me to this place. At 40 I can say I'm unapologetically myself and I love it!
How do you stay fabulous?I'm a firm believer of "look good, feel good". I take pride in my physical health, mental health and appearance because I believe they all work in tandem. I exercise regularly and eat a nutritious, balanced diet. I'm blessed with family and a small, but mighty, friend group. It's all of these things that affect me daily and keep me fabulous!
What would you do with the $40,000?The 40 year old me is rational and says to invest all of the money. The 20 year old me that struggled and worked so hard is telling me to live a little and enjoy some of the money. I've learned that balance is key and so I will likely invest a large portion and use the rest for a much needed vacation!
