I'm a breast cancer dragon slayer solely responsible for my daughter w/o family in the state & almost homeless. I'm blessed to be here.
We would like to thank you for supporting Tamara Kcehowski in this year's competition. Your support helps us contribute to the National Breast Cancer Foundation who provides early detection, education, and support services to those affected by breast cancer.
I know the value of life and still thriving even with an esthetic to flat closure. A double mastectomy doesn't take away my femininity and only age brings that kind of self acceptance. I eat right, volunteer and take every opportunity that comes my way. I don’t sleep on anything.
How do you stay fabulous?I eat right by making everything homemade and don't eat prepackaged foods. I read labels, walk at least 6k -10k steps a day while also exercising my daughter's service dog at the same time. I make it a point to chat and greet everyone we pass. It keeps my frequency high and puts a smile on the faces of others. Being out on the neighborhood streets allows me to come in contact with those less fortunate and get them help. You can't help but feel good when you've helped someone else.
What would you do with the $40,000?Oh so much! Where do I begin? First a reliable car to replace my 1995 Jeep over w/200k miles! It has taken a licking and keeps on ticking just like me! Although it isn't running at the moment. I would invest in more education to reinvent myself yet again at almost 59. From being a store manager to an International FA who flew DOD troupe rotation, to 15 yrs as a legal assistant in 2 TV studios (FX Networks & A+E Networks) before earning a state license to help others with AFLAC. Hear me roar!
