I love having the life experiences, good and the bad, of being a woman my age. Being over 40 isn’t “going downhill” we’re still climbing! And if you take care of your body and mind, the sky is still the limit! I’m proud to be over 40. I’m proud just to still be here. Seven years ago, I watched my twin sister take her last breath after an 8 month battle with leukemia. Losing her jolted me into existence. So being over 40 IS fabulous, because I’m still here.. my story isn’t over!
How do you stay fabulous?Mentally, I take time for myself, away from devices and social media to gain clarity. Mental health is so important! I feel best when I connect with other women. I go to the gym ( periodically). I treat myself (indulge) with it suits me. I wear moisturizer daily. I try learning new things and I accept my flaws and mistakes.
What would you do with the $40,000?Honestly, pay off some bills. I have a soft spot for animal shelters so I KNOW I would donate towards that cause for sure!
