What I love about getting older is understandable your family and good friends are the most important thing in life. Gaining a good perspective of yourself. When I was in my early 20s, I wrote a book called Rotten Cassandra McLawton. I also illustrated it.. My children were only three, five and 10 years old at time. When I sent it to a publisher, I got rejected and I stopped pursuing it. Now I am almost 60years old I am about to publish it on self publishing Amazon. Life isn’t over after. 40!
How do you stay fabulous?Laughing! For me., taking care of myself. is knowing my boundaries and making sure that I stick to them. I think as we grow older we realize boundaries are not negative, but required to have healthy relationships. I have learned to walk away from things that don’t serve me in a good way and to walk towards things that do. And again, I never miss a chance to laugh or make others happy.
What would you do with the $40,000?The first thing I would do is take me and my three daughters all on a wonderful vacation. It is hard for all of us to spend time together as this is a global community now, and everybody lives in different states.. I would also put it towards marketing my book.. I think with the way the world is today ,that my book would be a very healthy look at how we should treat other people.Not only that, but there’s good in all of us..
