I love that I’m almost 69! Sometimes you live long enough to find out who you really are..profound, right? A surreal freedom. Grateful to be here and humble enough to appreciate time spent vs material things. Through the seasons of my life I gave the world 3 great humans, seen a lot of sunsets, worked towards a doctorate in my 50s, shared a lot of laughs with the people I love, and realized that the correlation between age and happiness is to require so much less!
How do you stay fabulous?For a long time I was looking for my perfect equilibrium but realized perfection is boring. I had failures and doubts but continued on despite them. Sometimes the tears that fall down your face makes you stronger. I also realized that my looks are a depreciating asset. Why would I want to derive my value from that alone? Fabulous is living a life that you’re proud of. Fabulous is finding your own place in the world around you. Fabulous is taking care of yourself.
What would you do with the $40,000?It would be an honor to represent Fabulous Women. Thats a gift that needs to be able to sustain a worthwhile cause for me to be deserving of the award. A professional can advise me how to accomplish using that gift to benefit our next generation of Fabulous!! We need to invest THERE!!! I want my 3 granddaughters to understand early on what it means to be a Fabulous girl! It would literally be the gift of a lifetime! Will you help me? Thank you!
