"Focus" is the state or quality of having clear visual definition. Women over 40 understand sacrifice, obligation and commitment to others. Around this age, we grow into learning how to focus on ourselves. For me, it came with divorce and a career change that I allowed myself to ask questions that I had never asked before-"What do I want in my life?" I answered wanting more laughter. less stress and the love of my lifetime. The freedom to manifest began after 40.
How do you stay fabulous?At 58, staying "fabulous" is having the keen insight of gratitude, freedom and connection. I started to incorporate a "daily appreciation" to thank my body and mind for providing me with good health & the capability to embark on a new day. I learned to say "yes" to trying new things and having new experiences-it has eliminated that soul crushing feeling of being in a "rut". Also, I hold my partner's hand, a simple gesture that I have found it to be a powerful way of daily bonding.
What would you do with the $40,000?With encouragement from my daughter & friends, I am writing my first novel "More than a Million Times" inspired by my experience of meeting my soulmate at the wrong time but reconnecting 36 years later to find the love of my lifetime. I had to become the person I am becoming to be capable of being in a loving partnership. Having the financial means to publish this story would be a befitting ending to heal the tribulations and a new beginning to inspire other women to do so.
