I love that I now know myself better. I feel confident in who I am, my abilities, and my choices. I love that my body is still strong and even though I look a little older, I am excited to be entering this new chapter in my life, knowing that 40+ is just the beginning of a long and happy journey ahead. For me, turning 50 is a positive.
How do you stay fabulous?I practice pilates, spend time with friends & family, and take long walks with my husband & our dogs. I’m constantly challenging myself professionally, and love to read & learn as much as I can. I’ve invested in good skincare since I was a teen, and always wear SPF. I play tennis & have a healthy diet, with the occasional cocktail (or 2) on special occasions. I started HRT last summer. I’m not trying to fight “aging”, rather align myself with it, and, if possible, maybe slow it down ;)
What would you do with the $40,000?I would love to invest in creating a small fitness studio with my cousin, focused on flexibility and strength training as well as nutrition and overall wellbeing. A place where women like us can feel supported as we begin our journey into menopause. It’s something we’ve been wanting to do for a while, and as we’re now both in our 40’s and passionate about living our best lives, it would be perfect timing.
