I love being over 40 for the gained maturity. I didn't have the strength to file for divorce until I was 42. I was able to finally truly see what true happiness meant to me and how the situation I was in was not that. I have been able to show my teenage children what they should and should not accept in life and how you should be true to yourself. After 40 I have been able to look beyond being a people pleaser and put myself first. I have learned to be me and others can take it or leave it.
How do you stay fabulous?I stay fabulous by being active and making sure to take time for myself. I work out formally 5 days per week at 515am before the world starts. I also live to travel. Not a day goes by where I am not looking at where my next travel location should be or planning activities for my next upcoming vacation. I give myself breaks as needed and am accepting of my flaws.
What would you do with the $40,000?Most likely travel. This is my most favorite hobby!! I want to take the family on a wonderful trip to Italy when my son graduates from high school, so that I can show him what the world has to offer and his full potential.
