I love getting older. I will be 69 in December and I became a mother at the age of 49 through adoption.
We would like to thank you for supporting Susan Marie Crater in this year's competition. Your support helps us contribute to the National Breast Cancer Foundation who provides early detection, education, and support services to those affected by breast cancer.
I have learned so much in life that I did not know when I was younger. As I've gotten older I've only gotten wiser. Every decade brings new experiences. So many never get the privilege to get old and therefore I feel very privileged every day when I wake up, I am so grateful to have another day.
How do you stay fabulous? The main thing that I do is drink a lot of water and use a lot of moisturizer. I walk and swim a few times a week. However, I also keep my mind sharp by learning new things in life as often as I can.I think that this helps my brain to stay sharp. We must take care of ourselves physically and mentally.
What would you do with the $40,000?Pay off some credit cards that I have and also donate to veterans and children's causes. Possibly even write a book about my experiences in life as I certainly have many, some good and some bad but all in all life is a journey and we must make the best of our ride!
