What I love most about being over 40 is the freedom that comes with wisdom. At this age, I cherish the beauty of being authentic, the strength gained from overcoming challenges, and the opportunity to keep dreaming. How do you stay fabulous?I feel immensely grateful because I finally stopped procrastinating and am writing a book of 7 short stories inspired by my granddaughter, with 3 already finished. This project fills my life with energy and excitement. I also continue to write poetry, which keeps my spirit young and deeply in love with life. I am convinced that this is the best time of my life, full of creativity, gratitude and happiness. This opportunity means everything to me, I couldn't be happier!
What would you do with the $40,000?Winning this award would transform my family's life. With $40,000, I could ease our financial burden and support my 73-year-old husband, who continues to work with determination. Imagining his reaction when I say, “We did it!” fills me with joy. This award would also help me publish my collection of seven inspiring stories about my magical relationship with my granddaughter, Paulina. It’s a chance for our voices to be heard and a reminder that dreams are achievable.
