I love the confidence that comes with knowing who I am and how I show up in the world makes a difference! Serving others is a daily pursuit. After 40, I realized that the best way to care for myself is to find what I'm passionate about and pursue it with everything I am. After decades of putting my children first, it was time for me to focus on what I bring to the world outside of raising a family.
How do you stay fabulous?I spend plenty of time with fabulous people! Professionally and personally I surround myself with those who help me evolve into the woman I want to become. I stay active and LOVE serving! The like-minded individuals who share those passions are fabulous in their own ways! Being a life-long learner, I am in school, always looking for ways to improve so what I deliver to others makes a difference in their lives.
What would you do with the $40,000?When I retire, I want to go abroad to do work similiar to what UNICEF does. One of my "heros" is Audrey Hepburn. While her life story is moving, her acting career lengendary, it's really her work with UNICEF that made me realize what giving of yourself can do for other people. Therefore, I would invest a portion of this money to be able to accomplish that goal. Of course, I would have to throw a small thank you celebration for everyone who voted for me as well!
