I truly believe that the older you get, the more comfortable you are with WHO YOU ARE. Aging is a tremendous gift and we tend to dwell on the aging process, not the new year of life we are given to live. I do not take any birthday for granted! I celebrate every year and always will. It may seem juvenile, but I don’t see why society looks down on celebrating life after the age of 21. We should be grateful and thankful for another trip around the sun!
How do you stay fabulous?One thing that I mention to younger women over and over, is to protect their skin! Wear sunscreen and/or a hat. Our skin is our biggest organ and it needs to be cared for early on. Also, I am a huge advocate of keeping your body moving, good sleep, fresh air, the beach, sunshine and nourishing food - and most importantly- to laugh!
What would you do with the $40,000?I would reinvest the earnings into my personal business as a home organizer. Nothing gives me more joy than helping others to take control of their closets. Transforming and maintaining the space into a neater and more useful environment. Clutter consumes us. Our daily tasks become cumbersome. Simple things, such as; getting ready in the morning, cooking a meal or trying to find something can be so overwhelming and frustrating. Implementing a sustainable system is the key.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Fab Over 40, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
