In spite of adversity (divorce, illness, single mom taking care of terminally ill sister), I still have tons of hope/joy/love for others.

My strength and confidence in knowing I can handle anything life throws at me. Challenging times can be stressful, scary and anxiety inducing, but I’ve learned you can still laugh and find joy during hard times. Not only can you find peace in the middle of the storm, but once the “storm” is over, you come out the other side more resilient, empathetic, confident, and so thankful for happier, peaceful times. I’m a better friend and supporter.
How do you stay fabulous?I am currently struggling with my health and unable to work. It’s limited the way I am used to caring for myself: exercise (I can lightly exercise on my “good days”) and massages due to the cost. I stay fab regardless because I love to laugh and make others laugh. I appreciate and actively seek out the beauty in life: nature, dogs, the smile of a stranger, savoring music and good food. I have a grateful heart and love deeply. I am kind and gracious and warm=fabulous!
What would you do with the $40,000?This is not a glamorous or exciting answer: I would pay down debt I’ve acquired over the past couple years: sewer line needed major repair, my golden retriever had a malignant melanoma and needed surgery, home and car repairs while not working=I’ve charged it all to my credit cards. I’m hoping to rid myself of the huge stress and burden of debt, and if I have a little left over, I will have a much needed safety net for any surprises that come my way. Maybe a much needed, quick weekend trip!
