I have endured lots of difficulties in my lifetime, but I have rebuilt and thrived. I have never been happier or felt more beautiful!

I love being over 40! My beautiful family and incredible life are my dream come true. In my 20's, I could never imagine the happiness I have now. The challenges of going back to school, starting a new career, divorce, being a single mom, starting over with nothing, and getting back in shape have made me into who I am today. Sharing my story with girlfriends who were dealing with similar struggles, has empowered them to triumph over difficult times too. I am so thankful to have come this far!
How do you stay fabulous?I am a strong believer in women and moms "filling their cups" daily. We often put everyone else first and ourselves, last. I love weight-lifting because I am now in the best shape of my life. My goal in my younger years was to be as thin as possible even if it meant depriving myself. Now, I want to be STRONG and make it a point to eat to fuel my body. Retaining muscle mass is critical as women age. I also love my job in women's healthcare, doing my make-up, and dressing up to feel beautiful. ❤️
What would you do with the $40,000?A good friend of mine, Ciera, runs a FB group called "Badmoms". Our group consists of moms from all backgrounds. Badmoms members include many single moms who struggle to make ends meet. When a Badmom posts that they need gas, diapers, or food, our members help every time. At Christmas, Badmoms sponsor single moms, who would otherwise not be able to give their kids a nice Christmas. Badmoms is all about women helping women and I would love to donate to this amazing cause.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Fab Over 40, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
