Self awareness, Prioritizing your health and well-being. Inner peace, and last I would say emotional maturity.
We would like to thank you for supporting Stacy-Leigh Goodman in this year's competition. Your support helps us contribute to the National Breast Cancer Foundation who provides early detection, education, and support services to those affected by breast cancer.
What I love about being over forty is self-knowledge. Knowing what makes you happy/feel good and what’s not worth stressing over, permits you to stay focus and positive on your decisions and life goals. It’s like self-acceptance embracing your imperfections and loving every bit of it. What’s that saying: “ Grant me wine to accept the things I can not change and coffee to change the things I can”. It’s funny yet so true!
How do you stay fabulous?I stay fabulous by embracing my age! Aging is a part of life and I tell people all the time. If you not aging that means you have crossed over into another life. I have friends who state “ I’m getting old”! I’m like some people don’t even make it to see 40. I tell people all the time “you as young as you feel”! I will never call myself old until I turn the year I was born “laughing “!
What would you do with the $40,000?What I would do with the 40, 000 is invest, where I’m not sure. I would like to talk to a financial planner to see what would be the best fit for me. I'm at a point in my life where I would like; my money to make me money, generate income. Starting to plan for the future at this age for me, allows me to correct the mistakes I made in my twenties and early thirties. I'm hoping at the age of 60 I'm no longer doing physical labor and able to enjoy retirement peacefully.
