I love being over 40! I still get carded at events and with purchases. This stage of life has brought me clarity, confidence, and a sense of purpose that I cherish. I’ve learned to prioritize what truly matters—family, relationships, personal growth, and pursuing my passions. With a wealth of experiences behind me, I enthusiastically embrace each day, knowing that I have the power to shape my future. The freedom to be authentic and unapologetically myself is liberating.
How do you stay fabulous?It's simple, I embrace who I am and celebrate life's joys. Staying active keeps my energy levels high, while cultivating meaningful connections adds richness to my life. I maintain a positive mindset, reminding myself to laugh often and find beauty in everyday moments. For me, fabulous isn’t just a look; it’s a vibrant attitude that shines through in everything I do!
What would you do with the $40,000?It would be an honor to win the Fab Over 40 award prize and be part of such a prestigious group, especially as a woman of color. I have deep respect for cancer survivors and those battling the disease. When it comes to managing my earnings, I believe in a balanced approach that prioritizes both security and growth. First, I'll make sure to allocate a portion towards bills (as who doesn’t have those), as well as clear a path for investments to build and give back.
